As a scientific member of staff, you have the chance to get involved in pioneering research fields at THU, including:

As a scientific staff member at THU, you will be working in national/international – and often interdisciplinary – project teams, alongside our various partners from science, business and society. For a scientific position at a University of Applied Sciences, you will need a special qualification for scientific work, which is generally evidenced by an academic degree. Please see the relevant job advertisement for more detailed requirements and other qualifications.
Doctoral degrees at THU:
You also have the option of doing a doctoral degree (in German) at THU, which will open up additional opportunities for your scientific career and allow you to extend your expertise. At THU, Ph.D. students can do their doctorates either in cooperation with a doctorate-granting university, or in the Universities of Applied Sciences Doctorate Center.
Please note that positions to do a doctoral degree are generally not advertised separately. Instead, these are included in the job advertisements for scientific staff.
