Taking into account, that quite a number of you most probably will not be able to already arrive at Ulm on September 16, mainly due to visa and travelling issues, the key content elements of our preliminary course take place during the second week from September 23 to September 27. This especially means that all information on our campus, organizational aspects of the studying at THU, the digital infrastructure at THU, etc. will be discussed during the week from September 23.

For those of you arriving earlier, there will be course activities also during the first week of the preliminary course starting on September 16. However these activities will focus on social aspects such as getting to know each other or getting first impressions of the city of Ulm.

We are thus very happy to welcome you on September 16th at 9.00am in room W3.301 or on September 23 at 9.00am in room W3.301, located in our building W at the campus at Albert-Einstein-Allee 53 - 55.

Those of you who will arrive in between or later are kindly asked to contact our preliminary course team per email (vorkurse-e@thu.de) prior to their arrival such that we can provide all the necessary information for joining the preliminary course – or even lectures in case of very late arrival – in advance or even arrange individual meetings if required.

We are there for you in advance: You are welcome to send your inquiries to vorkurse-e@thu.de.

After the preliminary course, a welcome event for new students will take place on September 30th.

Please also check this course website regularly for news.

We look forward to getting to know you.

Best regards
