Farah Elwatidy, Reta Mikhail and John Ghaly will be the first graduates of the degree program Computer Science at GIU in the upcoming summer semester. The course of study is identical to the international degree program Computer Sciene at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences. The students wrote their bachelor thesis during their stay abroad at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences. Prof. Dr. Markus Schäffter and Prof. Dr. Stephan Schlüter were the supervisors.
Along with other German universities, the Ulm University of Applied Sciences is supporting the establishment of GIU in Cairo in a project funded by the DAAD.
Through the connection to GIU, students at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to complete a semester abroad or their internship there.
